This year the we have been selected to host the Essex 10 mile championship and therefore expect to sell out quickly, we suggest getting your entries in early.
As usual the race will start on New Road between Tiptree and Messing, which is approx a 10-15 minute walk from Thurstable School. The school will be the race finish point and base on the day. See our Race Parking page for locations. Marshals will be deployed on the day to direct you.

The event comprises a 10-mile road race, over a predominantly flat course (there are a couple of hills to keep it interesting!) and it will be fully marshalled by members of Tiptree Road Runners, who will be there to ensure your safety and also provide some vocal encouragement and support. It’s an attractive course, mainly on rural roads, giving you the opportunity to enjoy some scenic Essex countryside. Prizes are awarded to 1st/2nd/3rd Male & Female, age category winners and team prizes. All finishers receive a superb Technical T Shirt.
Chip Timing UK will provide accurate and speedily available results – please note that timing will be gun to chip NOT chip to chip.
Tiptree Road Runners will also be hosting a 1-mile Fun Run on the fields at Thurstable School, starting at 9.45 am on the day. Entry is only available on the day and will be just £1 with all finishers (whatever their age) receiving a medal and some goodies, so please bring your friends and families along on the day – everyone is welcome!
We are very proud, as always, to donate our race profits to local and national charities. Our 2018 charity benefactors will be announced in due course.
We are very grateful to all our sponsors, whose details are proudly shown on the ‘Sponsors’ page, without whom the event could not take place. For sponsorship opportunities and donations, please contact the Tiptree 10 Race Director.
As usual, there will be hot and cold refreshments, cakes and rolls on offer in the sports hall, before and after the race. Post-race massage will also be available.
