Completed, 1.9k (1.2 mi) ocean swim, 90k (56mi) ride, 21.2k (13.1 mi) run” in 07:09:53

“Achieved end goal, as set a target to complete the swim in under an hour, complete the ride in under 4 hours and complete the run in 2 hours.”

Great Notley parkrun TRR take over!

Great park run take over, thank you to all the marshals and pacers. New club gazebo got it’s first outing.

There was a lovely write up done for the event so please check it out.

Len said “I helped with the photography at the TRR takeover event at Great Notley. It was such a great event and ticked so many boxes for me. All of my parkrun chums got to see how much fun you lot are whilst many of the TRR lot got to discover that the hill at Great Notley really wasn’t all that bad!”

Jim Slater would have set a new V75 club record for his age group if he had remembered to take his bar code with him, in 29.35.

I found the route undulating. Course was pretty but very hard work!
I missed a Bronze standard by 17 seconds!

Grizzly draw has now been done, thank you Sam! Well done to all the lucky 1’s that got in. There will be places available when the general public entries open, 1st come basis.

It was confirmed this week the we have 2 Essex road race champs at the club, Julia Bawden and Simone Hillard.

Club standard and pb claims.

Regarding club std’s, still a few of claiming std even though you have already archived it. You can only archive a colour once (bronze/silver or gold in your age group) you either move up to the next std or change age groups. They are all recorded on the website and it is updated monthly.

Please also check your pb’s before making a claim on this also, it’s on the results page on the website, which is updated monthly.
