Charity & Community Donations
Tiptree Road Runners are proud to support local community causes, alongside regional and national charities.
For more than 30 years, the club has organised its flagship Tiptree 10-mile road race, with surplus funds donated to good causes. In more recent years, this has been complemented by the Maldon 5k series, along with additional fundraising by club members. Together, these activities have enabled the club to make meaningful charitable contributions year after year.

Scouts (1st Heybridge & 1st Great Tey)
Local Scout groups supporting young people through skills, adventure and community service, and providing valued volunteer support at our race water stations.
Helen Rollason Cancer Charity
A charity dedicated to enhancing quality of life for people affected by cancer through support centres, therapies, information and research.
Action For Family Carers
An Essex-based charity providing practical and emotional support to unpaid carers of all ages, including adult and young carer services, counselling and day care.
Disability4Sport
A community-focused organisation delivering inclusive sporting opportunities that improve the physical health and wellbeing of disabled people of all ages.
JogOn Again
An environmental charity that collects and redistributes unwanted running shoes to reduce landfill and support communities overseas.
Maldon & District Sea Cadets
We donated profits from the 2026 Maldon 5k Handicap Series to support the Sea Cadets mission of supporting youth in the community.
Finish Line Fund
A small East Essex charity supporting runners and their families affected by serious injury, disability or death, while promoting amateur sport locally.
Hadleigh parkrun
A donation was made to enable the event team to replace vital equipment following vandalism of their storage hut.
David Randall Foundation
A valuable donation made to support this worthwhile cause from proceeds of Tiptree 10 virtual race
St Lukes Primary School
We supported St Lukes Primary School by sponsoring and supporting the purchase of their school team sport kits.
Mid Essex Casuals
TRR members held a night trail and contributed funds towards the cost of a Defibrillator for another fellow running club. TRR was pleased to be able to match funds raised by members.
Milldene Primary School
We supported Milldene Primary School by sponsoring and supporting the purchase of their school team sport kits.
