Supported Charities 2026
Throughout the celebrated history of the Tiptree 10, we have donated to many charities and community organisations, including Essex Dementia Care, Active Essex Foundation, Kids Inspire, JogOn, Colchester Cancer Wellbeing Centre, Farleigh’s Hospice, and local Scouts and schools, to name just a few.
We are pleased to introduce the charities and community organisations selected to benefit from the 2026 Tiptree 10. Each of these organisations makes a valuable contribution to their local community and the people they support. By taking part in the Tiptree 10, runners are helping us to support these organisations and the important work they do.
RNLI
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Its volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the UK and Ireland, while its lifeguards help keep people safe on beaches during the summer. The RNLI also works to prevent drowning through water safety education and awareness.

Home-Start Colchester, Jaywick & Clacton
Home-Start Colchester, Jaywick & Clacton is an independent local charity supporting families with young children across Colchester and South Tendring. Its services include early-years support, parenting support, family wellbeing services and practical help for families experiencing difficult times.

Sea-Change Sailing Trust
Sea-Change Sailing Trust provides residential opportunities for young people and vulnerable adults, using sailing and life aboard a traditional vessel to develop skills including teamwork, communication, resilience and confidence. The charity works with people experiencing social, physical, emotional or economic disadvantage.

Scouts
The Scouts are a dynamic group of young people aged 10½ to 14 who engage in a variety of activities designed to build skills, foster friendships, and promote community involvement. They master new skills, embark on exciting adventures such as camping, hiking and canoeing, and explore the world around them.
We are indebted to the support from two local Scout groups who provide support for our water stations, Scouts 1st Heybridge and Scouts 1st Great Tey.
