Guests this week, 1st time for Tim, and joining us again Flic and Kath.
Late results from last weekend.
Brighton Marathon.
| Sam Cheung | Brighton and I had unfinished business as after trying it twice I hated it. Running with Vicky, Danielle and Kelly was by far one of THE BEST running experiences I’ve had. It was amazing to run alongside two of the greats but also to see Kelly cross the line of her first marathon with a smile on her face was worth every second of the pain I’m now enduring! |
| Danielle Harrington | Such a fab day running with the girls. Kel’s first marathon and she smashed it! Sam’s been injured and done all her training on a bike and the machine that is Vicky who is the best support runner. |
| Kelly Rogers | This was my first marathon. I did find it tough in places but the support I received from Danielle, Sam and Vicky was incredible and I can’t thank them enough. Crossing the finish line hand in hand with them is something I will remember forever. |

Runner of the month for March.
This gentleman has put a lot of time and effort into training for the Grizzly this year. He completed a number of very specific sessions to be able to achieve his sub 4 hour Grizzly time. He was also brave enough to have it out there to act as an inspiration to others, plus he went out strongly on the day to achieve his goal. He has helped out regularly this month as Run Leader Support, has supported two other members of the Chairman’s challenge, he ran a great Colchester 15 time in difficult conditions and supports the club by producing the results for the chairman each week and feeds these into the club league tables. Quiet and unassuming, but epitomises everything that makes this club so special.
Stuart Peace.
