Rom for Jan

Men,

This chap,  omg,  what can i say……he entertained us all at TRR this month as he prepared to tackle his first Benfleet 15 trail run.

As a coach We are always keen to encourage adequate fuelling on endurance runs.. this chap took that on board, posting up in his group chat his huge stack of snacks he had ready for the event. He referred to this as a picnic, lol.

His determination and enthusiasm got him through mud hills and tough terrain, and his final words. “I loved every bloody minute of it” said it all.

Loving every minute even the zig zag hills. He embarked on the final hill to the finish line. With his two club mates, holding hands to cross the finish line and smiling..

We all have highs and lows and this chap continues to bounce back with determination….but love for his club and his running buddies…

January’s Nomination goes to, Ben Hall

Ladies,

This lady has been a regular supportive member of her group since her move from gp 1… committed to her training and representing the club at various trail events, attending XC events.  She continues to inspire us all.

Taking on her 2nd Benfleet 15 during January, she crossed the finish line supported by her team mates Sharon and Ben. To knock a fantastic and amazing 20 mins of her previous time…whoop.whoop..

We are super proud of this lady who always gives back, marshals and supports at club events, our Gp 2 nomination goes to ….
