Runner of the month November.
Men,
The glue that holds this club together. ❤️
The energy this man brings to this club is unmatched. He has TRR running through his veins.
But November highlighted what makes him so special.
Cross Country season starts. Who is running every race without exception? This man. Who is encouraging others to participate? This man? Who is there from the very start of each XC race day right through to the end? This man.
His excitement at XC is matched by the energy he puts into training sessions. The smile on his face over the last month and the laughter in training is lovely to hear for all running with him, whether on a Tuesday or Thursday.
On top of all this his red jacket and Guinness fuelled speeches at presentation night showed the passion and care he has for every member of this club.
On top of that we know he’s enjoying his running as he’s treated himself to some new trainers!!!
The G4 nomination for November is Lawesey.
Ladies,
G3 Runner of the Month Nomination – November
This lady has had a fabulous year of running, training hard and returning from a long period out with races ranging from 5k to marathon. Gold and Silver standards have been collected along the way as well as a club record or two.
The pinnacle was November though, when she bagged the club record and her 6th gold standard at Stebbing 10. This race was also the final one in the Essex County Athletics Association Grand Prix and her brilliant run secured her the Gold Medal in the VW55 age category. An amazing achievement and one that was so important to her in this year especially.
Great to have her in G3 supporting and encouraging all of us along the way.
Our G3 nomination is Essex County Champion and Endurance Queen,
Lorraine Mills.
