March rom

Ladies,

Over the past four months, this lady has truly blossomed and it’s been an absolute joy for both the RLs and the group to witness her growth. Her confidence—in both herself and her running—has grown tremendously. She’s also shown great wisdom in knowing when to rest and recover, listening to her body when those injury niggles arise.

March has been a standout month for her. She kicked it off with a weekend away with the TRR crew in Seaton. Despite feeling unsure whether she could manage the distance, she smashed the infamous 20-mile Grizzly course, finishing absolutely elated and making plenty of new TRR friends along the way.

The momentum didn’t stop there. The very next week, she earned a PB at Mersea parkrun, playing a vital role in the ladies’ sweet victory over the men. Just seven days later, she was at it again—this time claiming another PB and a Bronze Standard at the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon.

Her contributions have gone beyond her personal achievements too. She kindly co-ordinated the Finish Line Fund relay and is about to step up as a Run Leader Support.

For her remarkable progress, her growing confidence and her support to the club, we’re proud to name.

Claire White

Gentleman,

And he is a gentleman, as I sit here typing this,(now reading it) I am feeling all emotional due to everything he does for our members and the TRR running club, he has recently taken on the shared role of run leader coordinator, introducing new members to the club. This is on top of his welfare officer role.

As a run leader he is very focused on the group sessions helping plan these out at run leader meetings.

He does find time to fit a bit of running in as well, having recently finished the tough 20 mile Grizzly, running a PB and Silver Std at the Essex 20, followed 2 weeks later with a Pb and gold std at the Dave Wright 15.

He is an inspiration, a leader, a motivator and all-round good guy. And he is not a bad runner either!
