Runner of the Month August

This lady had an amazing July with some great achievements, The momentum didn’t stop there—August brought even more glory:

Chase the Sun Olympic Park 10k – A stunning performance with a Club Record, Gold Standard, and 1st in her Age Category! What a way to lead the field!

Cold Norton Trail Run – Tackled with trail toughness and unbreakable spirit.

Colchester Friday Night 5k – Another brilliant finish with a Club Record and Gold Standard! The summer closed out on a high note.

Julia Bawden.

This gentleman continued his great love of running into August,

Taking on the ️ Brecon Beacons Ultra – 52K

Completing his first-ever ultra marathon: a jaw-dropping 52K across the rugged terrain of the Brecon Beacons.

No prior ultra experience, One of the most challenging and technical courses out there, Relentless hills, tough weather, and uneven ground.

And he smashed it.

This was more than a race—it was a test of courage, endurance, and mental strength. And he passed with flying colours. What better way to level up as a runner than by jumping in at the deep end and coming out stronger on the other side?

From Parkrun passports to peak-bagging ultras, this gentleman has made it clear: limits are only there to be broken.

We applaud his: Dedication to adventure, Willingness to push past comfort zones, And absolute refusal to give up, even when the hills hit hard is
