Maldon parkrun
Chris Gardiner, Although it was a bit slippy in the woods, it was good to put in a real effort at parkrun. Very pleased with my first top 10 finish at Maldon parkrun, my Maldon parkrun PB and 1st in age group. 00:20:46
Rob King, Volunteered … 269 Parkrun … 43 male & first in my age group . Good to see plenty of TRR runners cheering people on. Thank you. 00:23:59

Rutland Water parkrun
Len Marten, “I’m stood here marshalling at Colchester junior parkrun and who should I meet? Only bloomin’ Lawesy and Mia. So whilst I’m waiting for the wee darlings to come round I thought I’d submit my parkrun result from Rutland Water, because I know he’ll flipping ask later. 00:38:00
By the way, Rutland Water is 2hrs up the A1 before you ask Lawesy…”
Tarpley 10/20 mile road race.
Aaron graves, Pretty happy with that first 20mile Road race since 2019 and knocked 4min 22 of my PB will have to try to dip under 2hour next time, as I only entered it Monday so could of prepped better. went though first 10mile in 1:00:29 and negative split the second 10mile in 10:00:12 and a bit undulating. PB and CR 02:00:41
Simone Hilliard, My Garmin didn’t work! Had to run by feel – I have no idea if I was fast or slow but achieved what I expected. I really did run the full 20 on a hilly course!! Lovely to see the trio of TRR ladies at the start. Great race with parking – I’d recommend this event. Much better than laps around the airfield! There’s a lovely part where the 20 joins the 10 mile race and you can encourage the runners. 2:40:16
Julia Bawden, Very pleased to have knocked almost a minute and a half off last year’s time and setting a new club record in my age group. 3:30:54
Sharon Hardwicke, Knocked 13 mins off my PB and a Bronze standard in 03:40:56
Stacy Hember, “Forgotten that I signed up for this race!!!
That was bloody tough, more hilly than expected. I hoped to get in under 4 hours and just made it. Came last in my age category 🥰” 03:57:21
Lulworth cove trail half marathon
Ben Hall, “Very tough muddy course , lovely to run with Kim and my best mate Chris.
started in a hail storm ended in beautiful sunshine on the very pretty Jurassic coast. Stopped for a few sightseeing pictures en route. And the obligatory pictures in front of durdledor and the ‘scratchy bottom’ village sign!
2000ft elevation over the long 14 mile half marathon course
Loved every minute and a great warm up for the grizzly in a few weeks”
Kimberley Hall, Amazing run with super friends – after being really unwell the last week I’m so fortunate I managed this. So grateful that Ben and Taek waited for me and supported me around. Beautiful surroundings and glorious mud! All completing that in 3:51:38
London Winter Run 10k
Carl Harper, My fastest fartlek as Chris paced me to an epic PB as we weaved through the crowds on a mission. Lovely day with Chris and Anna and friends. Thanks guys. PB and Silver std 00:46:07
Chris Gardiner, I just want to say a massive well done to Carl. This is NOT the race to go for a PB. It’s definitely a “fun run” with different paced runners all over the place. But Carl had put it out there that he wanted to go for it. He worked so hard for this and there won’t be many better deserved and harder won PBs than this one! Truly anazing mindset. 00:46:07

Smugglers Den 6.3 mileTrail
Jayne Vernon, “A great muddy run with fab friends . You can take 5 mins of this time as we had to wait for Iain Rhodes to poop in the loo😉.”
Zoe Bardell, “I am more tired from laughing all the way round. Great company with Jayne,Craig,Iain and Pats despite out late start. No rogue peas or sweetcorn in food this time!”
Spitfire Charity Challenge, completed 39.4 miles
