Ipswich Half Marathon

Toppesfield Teaser 7.5 trail

Sue Long and Simon, completing this in 2:6:14 ” I did this trail with Simon. Quite a challenging one today lots of ploughed muddy fields to go through, quite tiring on the legs. But nice to have the mud back at long last 🙂 The rain did hold for a bit but the heavens opened just as we were nearing the pub at the end and we got soaked, all part of the fun I guess 😀”

Upcoming events.

Parkrun take over at Maldon on the 26^th November. There is a post on fb.

1^st NESS cross country race on the 6^th Nov at Hilly field in Colchester. Details on fb Thursday morning.

VET’s xc at Writtle college on the 6^th Dec, over 40’s in 5-year age bands. I need to submit runners by the 25^th November please. 3 races- ladies 40 +, men 40-49 and 50 and over.

TRR club AGM, 10^th November in the school Tuesday night meeting room, we will need 34 plus members in attendance please.

Club presentation evening now at Foresters on 18^th November, DJ and bar.

Club person of the year 2022.

Anonymous vote for all club members, it can be for anyone at the club.

Club standard and pb claims.

Regarding club std’s, still a few of claiming std even though you have already archived it. You can only archive a colour once (bronze/silver or gold in your age group) you either move up to the next std or change age groups. They are all recorded on the website and it is updated monthly.

Please also check your pb’s before making a claim on this also, it’s on the results page on the website, which is updated monthly.
