Parkrun results from the weekend,
Great Notley parkrun, TRR take over.

Ladies currently lay 4th in Division 2 and men 7th after 2 rounds. Danielle and Vicky are 2nd and 3rd in there age group.

Going back to the xc relay a few weeks ago, the team awarded 3rd position on the day had a runner from a lower age group run. So 3rd position and county bronze medals now go to Simone, Rowena and Danielle.
NESS league race 1, Writtle college Chelmsford.
We fielded 20 runners on a flat muddy 2 lap course, thanks for support from Emma, Zoe, Simon, Carl and Ann-Marie, And Suzy for doing results sheet at the finish. And anyone else I may have missed.
The ladies won with the men 3rd giving us a combined finishing position of 2nd. All to play for at the next NESS race at Gosfield.

Chris Gardiner, Nothing ventured! The thought of that 5th gold standard really drove me on, but i couldn’t quite nail it. A lovely day trip with Phil though and pleased to hit a PB. 01:09:37

Morven Hurding, “Quite possibly the toughest road half marathon I’ve done. Unrelenting hills for the first 6m, then still undulating but route through Clumber Park is lovely. Elevation 698ft. Gold standard, Gender position. 26/553
8th in age group.” 01:41:25 That’s her 4th gold std in a month!
