Runner of the month for April……………..

Sally Banyard –  She has had an amazing month, a great 10k race and a gold standard 5k.

She has supported as RLS, had to curtail her own Tuesday night running to support others whilst doing this.

She supported at the first 5km event and Parkrun Takeovers too.

Simon Thompson – He has successfully landed the Maldon 5km series and has work tirelessly behind the scenes with other club members, local council, EA, First Aid providers and those running the races to produce a brilliant first event.

He has also done all the leg work on the next training block for 2.5.

He has been back supporting group 2.5 on his bike.

He has set up the C25K group too which has got a number of club members back out running again.

Simon has epitomised what being runner of the month is all about.
