Ladies,
“This lady is one of the darlings of the club, With razor sharp wit and the ability to keep her husband and fellow TRR runner on their toes.
Having taken a breather from being a run leader to focus on some family stuff. This lady in the words of Take That “is Back For Good”
She is a highly committed member of G2, and an amazing support to everyone.
She recently achieved a PB at Maldon 5k series and completed all 4 days of the Tour of Terling, no mean feat. As well as set new PB’s throughout the season.
Her ability to rally the troops to marshal at Maldon 5k was seriously impressive and she is well and truly on the case with T10. She is a real asset to the TRR team and the club.”
Jayne Vernon
Men,
We don’t really need to tell everyone why this person deserves Runner of The Month because he’s such a legend!
From his computer wizardry in the Maldon 5K series, to his dedication to parkrun, this person epitomises what TRR is all about.
A Run leader in group 1, he always has informative and inspiring words to motivate the group to laughter and greatness.
And let’s not forget his photography on race days and his ever-present videoing in publishing of parish notices.
As well as everything he does for TRR, his energy and enthusiasm for parkrun in Essex (and wherever else we might go on tour) is also infectious and inspiring. When you speak to this member about parkrun, you can’t help but get involved. This is evidenced by the number of TRR members at parkrun each week and by those who get involved in organising parkruns as part of core teams.
Len Marten!!
