TRR Runner of the month for May.

For the ladies…………………… Jodie Wells

Jodie has been great support as a Run Leader Support, always the first one to volunteer when we ask for help each week. She’s been the “buddy” for potential new club members and made them feel very welcome.

On the racing front she ran a silver standard and pb at both the Colchester Stampede 10k and Witham May Day 10,

Maybe her biggest achievement for the month was showing great mental strength when called for during the Colchester half.

She has also recently taken on the combined role of the press officer to which the first one has been released on Maldon 5k series.

And for the gentlemen……………………. Simon Gill.

He has had a fantastic month of running with 3 silver standards, a PB at May Day 10 and first home for the club, and a terrific performance at London to Brighton Ultra with next to no training in place for this which he kept extremely quiet from us all.

He has also stepped up a lot behind the scenes also and helped Simon T with M5K series and recently taken on the IT coordinator role for the club which is also a committee role and made a really positive impact.
