Welcome all.

M5K race 3.

Thank you to Phil and his core team, and all the members that volunteered on the night. The course came up short on the night, so there is a net and adjusted time to correct distance. The committee agreed to allow pb’s and std to adjusted time, but NOT club records as per TRR club constitution.

Runner of the month May.

Ladies,

This month’s Runner of the Month has had an absolutely brilliant few week!

Just a week after running the May Day 10 in 1 hour 23 minutes, this runner smashed out a marathon PB at Halstead, finishing in 4:15:17! That time also earned her a County Silver and a TRR Silver Standard—an amazing result on a tough course and in hot weather conditions.

Most recently, she supported the TRR takeover at Maldon parkrun as a pacer, helping others achieve their goals.

And on top of all that, she’s been a fantastic Run Leader for Group 3, supporting both Tuesday and Thursday sessions with real commitment and enthusiasm.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Runner of the Month is… *Sally Banyard*!

Men,

This gentleman has had a very bushy month to say the least! Starting off with the,

Witham Mayday 10, where he broke his own club record, set a pb, and won a county medal also archiving a diamond club std. in a time of 59:37:00

The following week, with 1 weeks’ notice run Halstead marathon in a time of 03:09:18.

The weekend after this, he doubled up with, Kesgrave parkrun on the Saturday in a time of 00:18:34. Followed the very next day with the Colchester stampede 10k road race, where he finished, 1st in age group. 00:37:13

Then we move on to the, Hatfield Broad Oak 10k, breaking his own club record and getting another diamond std making this his 4th Diamond std, in a time of, 00:36:28

That is a very impressive months running! He also finds time to be a run leader for G4.

Pete Banks

Tonights mixed session is 5K time trial.

Thanks to Len and Angela for doing all the organising behind the scenes.
