Bromley 10k
Chris Gardiner, Well, that was my new best run ever and best race ever! The buzz before and after between all of us running from TRR was amazing. There was 8 of us from G3 and G4 that were racing the event (Pete kindly offered to pace some of us), but between the 8 of us there were 8 new 10k PBs. Seeing everyone just so pleased with their result just made for the best Sunday TRR ever. Being our best with bedazzling breakthrough ballyhoo and bumper performances in balmy beautiful buzzing Bromley. What’s not to love! PB 00:40:34
Phil Nicholls, PB and silver std, 00:41:28
Simone Hilliard, After gradually getting closer to gold I finally managed it!!!! A PB by 1 minute and 21 seconds!! So pleased!!!!! I did, I did , I did!!! Great warm up with Chris and Phil, great toilet spot with Emma and brilliant TRR support. All the going through the unwanted mud finally paid off!!! Yay!!! Absolutely thrilled – I even had a nice photo near the end too 🙂 PB and Gold std 00:42:59
Rob Still, What a fantastic morning with loads of PB’s and great support, and a big thank you to Pete for helping me round. PB 00:48:16
Simon Thompson, The wonderful weather was wicked for a barmy bound behond Bromley back lanes with my TRR buddies. Having only run one 10k at Guanchung Hui in Zhunghou province I was proper pleased to surpass that time by 2+ minutes, PB 00:48:24

00:57:18
Hadleigh Legacy 10k, hilly 2 lap around mountain bike course.
Ryan Naidoo, 36th overall. VERY HILLY!! Lovely to see Julia & Tim at the start line and running so strongly on a challenging course. 00:54:39
Tim Huxtable, Tough but enjoyable event, 01:13:57
Julia Bawden, Great to see Tim and Ryan. Despite staggered starts to avoid bottlenecks, there was still a 7 minute wait to get through the first gate and the really muddy patch just after, but I enjoyed it anyway and came 7th out of 15 in my old ladies age group! 01:17:04
Camuplodunum trail marathon
Sharon Hardwicke, Fabulous route and fab company.. super proud of Lisa Ben and Sam completing their longest run..🥰👌💕
Lisa Allum, Wow loved this experience with Sam, Sharon and Ben, lots of laughs, singing, fun and a little bit of pain. It certainly didn’t feel like nearly 29miles (& that’s only due to Sam and I doing a wrong turn… again! 🤣). Achievements first 30K & PB, first marathon & PB and a massive distance is a first for all of us. Thank you Sharon for your advice and reading skills. Thanks Sam for asking if I fancy a challenge & advice before & during the race and thanks Ben for inspiring and encouraging me. To top the day off, It was a fab surprise seeing my family cheering & clapping us at the finish. Well done everyone and to those who ran over the weekend. The fabulous club TRR.
Ben Hall, “Such a lovely trail run with Sharon , Lisa and Sam – thank you so much for your encouragement all the way round – loved running with you guys! Beat my grizzly 20 by 1:30 My first ever marathon at :6:29 and longest ever run ! Such a lovely self navigation trail – think I’m hooked”
Sam, Furthest distance I’ve run, good fun with Sharon, Lisa and Ben. All finishing together in 07:07:23
The Essex Walker 2024 (27 miles)
Stacy Hember, “How amazing that running this route round Essex, I hadn’t run before!
It was lovely of 2 ladies from Little Baddow ridge runners to allow me to run with them. We did do it as jeffing run which worked out well as I hadn’t done this properly before.
It was certainly the forest I have run for a very long time and boy don’t I know it! 😂😂” 06:48:00

Runner of the month March.
Lady.
What a month! 2 PBs, 2 club records, 1 gold standard, 1 silver standard and 1 Essex champs gold medal.
She attended 3 of the TRR sessions in the month too! What an inspirational month of running…
And all that in the month before she raced a marathon (Brighton on Sunday 7th April).
An amazing month and inspiration to so many of us, by showing you can still get PBs, even if you’ve been running for a while. Lorraine “The Inspiration” Mills.
