Mid week results we have;

 

Vicky Knight running at Eshton Moor Fell Race on Thursday in 44:30 gaining 597ft of elevation for the girls

 

Mark Lawes running at Salt cellar fell race on Friday in 1hr 20.  1st night of holiday race 1, from the foot of Derwent dam up to the salt cellar rock formation. Around a bit up and down some more to the finish. Tough.  1,565ft elevation for the boys

Stacy Hember in 37:11 – Lovely chatty run/walk with Sharon (well she did most of the chatting) which helped me get round.

Aaron Graves getting a new PB and a club record in 16:57 – Had Malcolm cheering me on which really helped at the end and he was counting down which really helped

Phil Nicholls in 21:57 – 1st in age group

Kathryn Macdonald getting a PB and club standard in 24:26 – I would like to send out a massive thank you to Chris for coming over after a late night out Friday and pacing me to this very special sub 25minute PB. Group 2 have been inspiring me to be speedy and Chris got it totally right on the morning- he knew exactly when I’d feel sick, when my head would be screaming no and he shouted at me when I needed that extra push of encouragement. It knocked 36seconds off my previous PB but most importantly I crossed the sub 25 barrier!

At the Centurion running North Downs Way 100 Gavin Laws ran an amazing 103 miles in 27hrs 54

 

On Sunday Mark Lawes ran the Peak skyline half in 3hrs – Rained most of the run, lot of water under foot. Just needed to get it done. 2940ft

In August the boys have taken an early lead with 4,655 ft and the girls are on 782.
